Seeing People How God See's Them

Recently while driving home from serving on the tech team at our church, Brandon Heath's song "Give Me Your Eyes" came on the radio.  I really like this song, and it reminded me of a very impactful prayer I said a couple of years ago.  I asked God to always remind me to see people as He see's them.

The chorus of "Give Me Your Eyes" is very powerful.

Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me you heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see

As a Christian apologist, it is my prayer that God will never let me forget that everyone of us is His creation, and that He loves all of humanity.  The brokenness of humanity should always be first and foremost in my mind and the reason I live out 1 Peter 3:15:

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect
